Current information handling.
This version does not collect loan applications, credit scores, Social Security numbers, financial documents or account registrations. Calculator amounts, rates, fees and terms remain in your browser and are not sent to an analytics service by our tracking code.
The hosting platform may process operational request information, such as IP address, browser information and request logs, to serve and protect the website. Hosting processing is separate from optional analytics and is not controlled by the analytics preference described below.
Contact messages.
If you use our Contact Us form, we process the name, reply email, message category and message you provide so we can respond. Providing this information is optional, but we need a reply email to answer you. Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, credit documents or loan applications. Attachments are not accepted.
The contact form sends messages through Resend to our contact inbox. Our inbox provider also processes delivered messages. We retain correspondence as needed to handle your inquiry and related records; you can request deletion through the contact form, subject to applicable recordkeeping needs. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection. Cloudflare processes technical browser and request information to validate a challenge. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy. Security checks are separate from optional analytics.
The form requires a successful server-verified bot-protection check before attempting delivery. Contact messages are not sent to lenders, used as credit applications or included in analytics. A service acceptance message does not guarantee inbox delivery.
Optional Google Analytics.
Google Analytics 4 is connected to this website. It loads only after you choose to allow analytics. You can continue using the guides and calculators without allowing it.
If you allow analytics, it may process page visits, broad project categories, navigation events, calculator-use events and outbound link clicks. It may also process browser or device information and an online identifier. Our implementation removes URL query strings and fragments from the page addresses it sends and does not send names, email addresses, calculator inputs or credit details.
Google processes analytics information under its own practices. See Google’s privacy policy and how Google uses information from partner sites. We do not enable advertising personalization, remarketing or advertising pixels in this version.
Your analytics choice.
Use “Privacy choices” below or in the footer to allow or decline optional analytics when it is available. Your choice is saved in local browser storage for up to 180 days; it applies to that browser and website address. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice lasts only for that page. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signals cause our optional analytics to remain off.
Changing your choice to decline stops our subsequent analytics events and reloads the page to unload the analytics script. It does not erase data already received by Google. Clearing your browser’s site data removes the saved preference and any cookies stored for this site.
External links and future referrals.
Resource links take you to independent websites with their own information practices. No paid referral links are active now. If we add them, the provider or affiliate network may track clicks and conversions or receive information you submit on its website. We will identify paid referral relationships beside the offers and update this notice before adding new forms or tracking tools.
Retention and requests.
Analytics cookies set by our implementation expire after seven days without renewal. Google retains analytics data according to the property’s configured retention settings; those settings are managed separately from browser cookies. Aggregated reporting may remain available longer. Hosting logs follow the hosting provider’s retention practices. Use our Contact Us form for questions or privacy requests.

We will revise this notice when our collection, service providers or referral process changes and show the effective date above. This notice describes the current implementation; it is not a claim of certification or universal legal compliance.
